1. complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
2. strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.
Google claims there is no “Proof” for faith. I would argue them that point from now until I die! There is TONS of proof! Just look at the Bible. The Bible set down hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament about Jesus Christ. Those prophecies were written and laid down hundreds, in some cases, over a thousand years before He came. Jesus fulfilled many of them already, and will fulfill the rest when He comes again. And did He say He is coming again?
“And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
Josh McDowell was an atheist who set out to disprove Christianity, very much the same as Lee Strobel (a Pulitzer winning investigative journalist and author of the recent book and movie: _The Case For Christ_) did, and found that there is not only proof, there is proof – beyond a reasonable doubt that would stand up even in our modern courts of law! That’s why he titled his work: _Evidence That Demands A Verdict_. You can find a condensed version of that book that can be easily read in an hour or so titled: _More Than A Carpenter_.
Below is a decent article that may get you started on your “Spiritual” journey. And may I remind you that just because spiritual things are “Invisible” doesn’t make them any less real than the ordinary things we see every day.
