Finding Faith

“The Church is not the State, but it is the conscience of the State, and it is a conscience that cannot afford to become seared and silent.” – R.C. Sproul

(on the issue of Evangelical Churches speaking out about abortion, or should I say NOT speaking out about abortion)

Remarkably, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. reported in his “Letter From a Birmingham Jail” that the Church (assumedly Evangelicals as well as Catholics) was then mostly silent on the issue of Civil Rights.

I put it to you bluntly people: IS THERE ANY CHURCH LEFT HERE ON EARTH? If Jesus returned today, would He find any faithful?
