I got a map in my inbox this morning that showed 11 States now have More People on Welfare (the States in yellow) than they do Employed!

The Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2011, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support.

What’s the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. To put it another way, being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average job pays $25.00 an hour.

That is not sustainable and why “Redistribution of Wealth” will never work. It’s mathematically impossible.

  1. You might consider the reason that so many people are getting government assistance. It stems from the financial crash of 2008 and due largely to deregulation of the banking industry and all the money spent on George Bush’s unfunded wars.
    Millions, as you know, were thrown out of work. Once the economy turns around, which it is right now, these people will get back to work and the people on government assistance will fall. Would you rather just let the people who lost their jobs starve to death?

    • It’s been carefully shown that President Bush had little to do with the housing crisis, the “Sub-prime” crisis of 2008 onwards. The “Cause” was legislation enacted years earlier, where “Affordable” housing turned into “Everyone gets a house for free!” The Government pushed that program so hard that lenders were happy to get folks into homes they did not qualify for, because you know who still got their money? Right, the banks and the lenders, at least the guy closing the deal made his money and walked away, and in most cases the loans were guaranteed by guess who? Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. That meant the tax-payers were left on the hook for the bulk of those defaults. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac still have a ginormous inventory of properties they cannot sell, in places like Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, etc… Where those properties will likely never go back on the market. They hold others, that some may go back on the market – eventually, but if they put them all back out there at once, the market would be flooded and the prices driven down, and that hurts homeowners, and ultimately all of us. The problem stems from Government involvement in the first place, and the notions that it can “Guarantee” any loan out there. All of that assumes folks are basically honest and don’t try to rip anybody off. It holds up to a point. We saw how well it held in crisis. The “Blame” therefore falls on all of us for allowing the Government to do what they did, pushing folks into houses they could never afford, and in many cases they never made payments. Instead, they got in the homes with 110% or even 115% loans some of the time, and stayed there for up to a year – “Rent free” on the taxpayer’s nickel. Then, they took all the fixtures, copper pipe and wiring and left a gutted burned out hulk that nobody wanted behind. I’m not saying that happened in all cases, it was likely less than 30% of the foreclosures, but it did happen a lot, especially in inner city neighborhoods. The “Crooks” in all of this though, were the bankers and lenders, the “Deal makers” since they realized a way in this mess to make money off folks who had none. That’s criminal – plain and simple.

      The number of folks on Government assistance is loosely related to our most recent financial crisis. The Government has been out there putting folks on food stamps left and right when they don’t even need it. The “Dis-equity” in the system now is so bad that those folks on Government assistance are actually making much much more – in actual “take home” pay than are the rest of us. This includes illegals, since they can get Welfare, and housing assistance in many places, as well as food stamps, education assistance and free lunches for their kids, and free breakfasts in Los Angeles if you can believe that! Those of us struggling along on less than 1/2 our old salaries (and there are plenty) cannot qualify for most of that stuff, but it means those on Welfare are actually taking home a lot more than we do – since we pay taxes! I wouldn’t want anyone to starve, and in fact, nobody has to. There are food banks and food distribution centers at most churches. Our old Church, with just 150 members, fed something like 20-30 families a week, at least helped to feed them. In most cases, we couldn’t give them more than a bag or box of groceries at a time. Our new Church, with 1500-2000 members, I can’t even hazard a guess how many folks we help feed on a weekly basis. Nobody has to starve. It’s not the Government’s job, it’s the Church’s responsibility historically. When we shifted from it being a “Moral” obligation to feed the hungry, to a “Civil” obligation, we saddled all of us with a debt load we could never pay back. We also formed a whole class of “Indentured” servants who belong now to the Government. They are as much slaves as if they had willingly walked up and put their chains on themselves. If you don’t believe that, then you don’t understand the President’s real mission in our Country.

    • Hmmm… I meant to also comment on the wars. You know, there was a period after 9/11 where everyone wanted to go into Afghanistan and Iraq and “Beat ’em up real bad.” Public opinion changes, folks don’t like seeing their friends or relatives get killed and hurt.

      What I believe, is that those men and women in uniform, and our Country too, we took the only course of action available to us that would guarantee to keep terrorists out of our Country. We took the fight to them. If you want to kill sewer rats, you don’t wait for them to be in your kitchen, you go in the sewer and you kill them. End of lesson.

      As far as cost, the current President “Promised” to get us out of both – quickly. I think you know what has happened there. He’s actually gotten us involved in a whole new class of warfare, and killed far more enemy combatants with his “Drones” than President Bush ever did. We probably have at least twice as many drones now, and they are far more active than they were under President Bush.

      You forget that the debt only rose by an average of $625B / year (total debt increased from $5.6T to $10.6T) under President Bush. Since President Obama took office, and we were supposed to “Reign in spending” and wars and such, the debt has increased by about $1.25T / year. That’s also unsustainable.

  2. You didn’t answer my only question. Would you allow people who were thrown out of work through no fault of their own to go it alone? Starve perhaps?

    And by the way, the deficit is shrinking, jobs are becoming more abundant, and durable goods and housing sales are up.

    The mid east wars have accomplished nothing and we are now out of one and getting out of the other.

    The churches showed very well through the great depression that they were never equipped to handle national emergencies like recessions, plus, they are totally selective of who they help and who they do not.

    And finally, I am sure you do not understand what is meant by redistribution of wealth (The title of this entry.). It has nothing to do with welfare. Laissez-faire capitalism has never been shown to work. It always ends up with a couple monopolies with everyone else as economic slaves. So, rules have to be made like the anti trust laws. Since rules were made they can be made to help the wealthy industrialists more, make it equal, or help the working class/ poor. It is no secret that the big money is making the rules to suit themselves through lobbying, etc.
    There are two sides to capitalism, those that produce goods and services and those who buy them. When the rules favor the big money, the middle class decreases in numbers and that hurts across the board as we see right now. The gap between the richest people and the working class is at an all time high- the rules favor them. When certain politicians want to change the rules to help more money flow to the middle class, the big bucks people scream, “Redistribution of wealth!”
    They don’t mind when it is distributed in their favor. We have been privatizing profits and socializing the losses of the wealthy for far too long. Energy company and bank subsidies need to stop.

    The rules dictate in which direction wealth is distributed, and they are clearly more directed toward the big money crowd even though businesses are rife with cash and sending trillions off shore to hide. The stock market is at all time high and the large corporations are laughing all the way to the bank.

    A balance needs to be struck.

    Don’t be one of the foolish ones who drinks too much Kool-aid these days and believes the rhetoric coming out of the Whitehouse, or their statistics, or their “Positive economic” outlook. Things are dire, and the “So-called” recovery of 2009-2011 was very minimal, since not even enough jobs were created to keep up with population increase. This latest recovery, what I would call the 2013 recovery, is even more tenuous, and depends on factors like continued stimulus and record low interest rates. There are still wars, and we still have record deficits. The GAO is “Projecting” reduced deficits, I will wait to see. Governor Brown in CA said in Dec. or Jan, don’t remember exactly that he had miraculously ‘Balanced the budget” of the State. He was in fact, blowing smoke (serving Kool-aid) because we will again, have record deficits in this State, and they are already talking budget cuts all over the place. Businesses are leaving CA in droves still, because of the negative regulatory environment, there are empty and vacant Commercial Real Estate properties all over the place, and Aerospace, one of the mainstays of SoCal for the past 50 – 60 years, they can’t even do manufacturing here any longer so they are pulling up stakes too, and leaving minimal operations behind.

    Europe is reeling from crisis after crisis still trying to decide “Austerity” budgets. France, England and Germany are plagued with the same “Terrorism” problems as we are. The Middle East is burning, Israel is threatened on practically all sides.

    But, go on and drink the Kool-aid. I would advise against it. Of course, as I tell folks all the time, the only reason I am comforted in all this is because the Bible predicts these things. There is also the exponential rise in lawlessness in the past 20 years, with the advent of the Internet. The massive shift in morality, where good is now evil and evil is now good. Folks simply want to believe there is no God, “God is dead” announced Time Magazine in 1965 (or so) and those people want to justify themselves and being in charge of their own lives. The only thing I can say is “God will not be mocked.”

    No, of course I don’t believe folks should starve, or that we shouldn’t help those who lose jobs. FDR showed that some Government participation is important. But, it’s like the proverbial “Genie in a Bottle’ where once released, it begins to rule you. The Church was overwhelmed in the “Great Depression” as was every other institution of man just about. The entire world collapsed pretty much, at least in the west. China was not yet a power, and Japan was building through that period. The entire west was not necessarily as bad off as we were really, in France they took powerful measures to stave off economic collapse, and it mostly worked.

    The other aspect of the Church that I find interesting is that the decline in morality in Civilization in general, and especially our Country has led the Church to have less and less influence, to the point where today, and even for perhaps the past 60 years or so (Martin Luther King, Jr. comments in his “Letter From a Birmingham Jail” on this), the Church is more a reflection of the society in which it exists than it is an influence on society – as it’s supposed to be. The power is gone, at least here in the United States and in Europe. The Church is growing by leaps and bounds in China and the Far East, also in Africa. In places where there is persecution and trial, the Church thrives. It’s a very interesting phenomenon. Perhaps we are headed that way here?

    Actually, Crime rates generally rose after World War II, and peaked between the 1970s and early 1990s. Since the early 1990s, crime has declined in the United States and current crime rates are approximately the same as those of the 1960s.

    Yeah, extreme fundamentalism (Michele Bachmann, Huckabee, Glen Beck, Sarah Palin, Rick Perry, et al) and their desire to gain political control is being rejected by the majority. Obviously, red states have pockets of Christian fundamentalists that are prominent and embraced by the voters, but moderate Christians are tired of the rejection of science. It looks like the internet will be to fundamentalist Christianity what the printing press was to the draconian rule of the Catholic church. Luther started the reformation but it would have gone nowhere without the recent invention of the printing press and the fact that more and more people of the day could read.
    Before the 90s it was fairly easy for a fundamentalist family to isolate their kids from valid science and reality, but those days are all but over.
    In my experience I find that moderate Christians worry about having people in control who reject science as well as modern economics. They also worry about having people in control that base their decisions affecting the welfare and safety of the country based on vague bible prophecies. There are religious leaders out there that would love to have an all out war in the mid east, believing that it would trigger the “end times.”

    Also since fundamentalists have started pushing to have bible stories taught as science in the public schools, they have alienated a large body of Christians.

    Many Christians that I communicate with feel that going political corrupts their faith/ religious beliefs. Most of them understand that they live in a country that guarantees freedom of choice for all, and it’s the best we have come up with.

    • Wow! Too much Kook-aid. You’re believing the propaganda promoted by those who seek to show that we are “Evolving” or something. You don’t know anything about the Internet do you? I manage just a couple of Firewalls, as well as I have my own home network with a Firewall setup. But the log files from those show thousands, some days tens of thousands of attacks per day. Each and every one of those is a crime. Just because you cannot see it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening, or that it somehow magically is not “Crime.” It’s not violent crime, at least not yet. When it comes in the form of attacks against our power grid or water system controls, or sewage treatment plants, whatever infrastructure happens to be the target, then you could definitely call it “Violent” as well as “Terrorist.”

      The fact that these crimes are carried out by computers is a boon to criminals since they can download “Off-the-shelf” software to aid them in their criminal activity. Remember also, the fact these attacks are “Blocked” by firewalls, and are not followed up on or prosecuted doesn’t mean they are not criminal activity either. The “Criminal” intent is still there, whether there’s currently a victim, or the probing attack is successful and the machine is compromised. Many “Robots” exist on the Internet these days, and some, perhaps many were used just a few weeks back in the largest DDOS attack every. That attack was characterized by a 60% increase in number of attacks per unit of time. The attacks, the “Hits” to the web site being attacked were coming in at the rate of millions per second!

      That means that not only have hackers compromised more machines and turned them into robots, but that the Internet is not getting “Better” and nor are our precautions and “Netizens” providing any kind of capable “Deterrence” to the activity of these lawless types.

      The Church… My oh my. Fundamentalism is what this Country was founded upon. It is the basis for all Civilization. I can prove to you, at least to the reasonable mind, that in the absence of a true morality, that given by God, then we always devolve down to Tyranny. The reason is simple: If humans are in charge, making the rules, then he who has the biggest stick wins the argument and determines what’s “Right.” Witness NAZI Germany where they made it “Legal” to kill Jewish people. They therefore, broke no “Laws” in killing those 6M Jewish people, or the 5.5M other folks whom they variously gassed, asphyxiated, shot, burned, what have you. The German army exterminated entire villages in Russia, people who had done nothing whatsoever to anyone, all for the sake of their “Leibensraum” (Living room or space).       If you believe you can “Intellectualize” your way through any argument, then you obviously don’t understand human nature. Our Pastor says it very well when he says “What you worship determines your behavior.” In other words, if it’s all about “Me” then I will always do what’s in my own best interests – no matter what. Psychology has proved pretty much that even criminals always do what they think is the best thing to do, what will result in the best possible outcome for themselves (except in the case of extreme psychoses). Human behavior then, can be characterized by the idea that “We do what makes us happy.” We are “Happiness maximizers.”

      The Bible tells us that plainly, the fact that we are “Sinners” equates to that same notion that we seek to do what will give us the most happiness. That is the entire basis of our “Nature” you see, that we will act selfishly, out of selfish motives, for our own benefit, even when we are supposedly doing it for “Altruistic” or “Humanitarian” reasons. Bill Gates has all that money, and he runs around trying to pretend he is somehow “Saving” the world, when in reality he’s doing what he thinks is best – to his own mind. He’s may be doing good things, but if they are done for ourselves, then they are done out of impure motives and cannot be called “Good.” Only God is good, truly good. Only a life lived with God on the throne of our hearts is a life lived with proper motives and lived not for ourselves, but for his glory.

      That’s the other point in the Bible is that the only way to salvation, to get out of our “Sin nature” is to trust Jesus and his sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary as being sufficient to pay the penalty for my sin. Not only do I get a new nature, but I get eternal life as well, a life with him in Paradise (Heaven). This differs from all other Religions in that those other philosophies may assume there is a God and that there is indeed a way to get there, but they fail in the sense that they think we can get there on our own. We cannot. The Bible says so – plainly. Jesus is the only way.

      That’s the point, we are sin-ful beings by nature, and are born – already going to Hell! The Bible tells us if we repent (turn from our sin) and trust Jesus, that He can change us, he in fact will live inside us through the Holy Spirit and change us and start to make us more like him. We are not perfect we Christians, we are saved, and we are on a road of sanctification (being set apart, growing in grace and knowledge). We are not longer “Human” by nature, we are now “Jesus” by nature. When God the Father looks at me, he no longer sees me or my sin, he sees his son Jesus in me.

      The Spiritual world is not like the physical world in any way. It is different to the point that talking about it makes no sense to those who aren’t spiritual, and yet those of us who are saved, we get it.

      BTW, we don’t “Reject” Science, in fact “Good” Science always agrees with the Bible. Let’s look at the origins of the Universe as a case study. Up until Dr. Einstein, all of the so-called Scientists were saying the Universe was “Eternal” and that it had always existed. That is, after about the beginning of the 19th Century. Up until around 1800 all Scientists pretty much were Christians and agreed with the Bible. There was a fundamental shift somewhere around then when scientists begin looking for a way to paint God out of the world. How on earth could that be? The Bible tells us that the image of God is everywhere! Literally all of creation points to God – the fact there is a CREATOR!

      The Bible says “The Heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” So, now with creation, scientists began to think they could show that God no longer was relevant if they could show somehow that the Universe always existed, in other words that there was this “Eternal” thing where we lived, therefore there would no longer be need of a “Creator.” Well, when Dr. Einstein proved that phase shift existed in electro-magnetism, Dr. Hubble further proved that in fact all of the galaxies are phase-shifted such that they are all moving away from us, and in fact moving away from each other! How can that be unless they all originated from a point source, what we call the “Big bang.” Whoops! The Big Bang just gave a crushing blow to scientists who wanted to disprove God, since now it appears the Universe had not only a beginning, but it will also have an end.

      If you trace the origins of the Universe all the way back, and you assume then at some point there was nothing and then there was something, how did that happen? Who “Flipped the switch?” Obviously, we think God did. And it makes no sense to say that somehow something came from nothing – without God. Only something outside the system could create a system from nothing. Think about that, logically, take as long as you want.

      There are tons of other examples. Again, I refer you to the discussion on my other post about what Atheists believe (or don’t) since we’ve gone off on a discussion of how life could have possibly started. Life from lifelessness is another of those places where you just can’t get there without having an outside “Agent” start the process.

      Funny how we start out talking about “Redistribution of Wealth” and wind up talking about this stuff. It’s actually because of the clash of “World views.” As I said above, if you take God out of the equation, or try to, then you’re left with man’s “Ideas” of morality, which always becomes Tyranny. There is no other destination for that line of thought unfortunately. We are currently under a Tyrant in this Country, and we are tending more and more towards a repressive and oppressive society each and every day. Witness your own views on Christianity, the historical basis for this entire Country and for all our Law, and you can see that this thought process quickly derails itself on a path of self-deluded and self-justified insanity.

      There is no other option I’m afraid.

      Freedom of Religion is one thing, free to worship as we please is quite another. The average Muslim out there will say they believe in “Freedom of Religion” maybe, except in places like Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, and a host of other places, but they won’t tolerate other forms of worship, really. Their “Book” and their “Prophet” don’t allow them to do that. The so-called prophet Mohammed, he took and very subtly altered the Jewish and Christian writings and made it about him and not about Jesus and the Messiah. He set himself up as the promised Messiah and changed things so that he could write his own “Law.” Why else would his own “Story” written in his own book describe him: “Muhammad is a narcissist, a pedophile, a mass murderer, a terrorist, a misogynist, a lecher, a cult leader, a madman a rapist, a torturer, an assassin and a looter.” His own people know the truth, as much as we in our society know, deep down, that killing the unborn is murder, and yet we let it happen because we assume that because the “Law” says it’s OK then it must be – right?

      Mohammed claimed that God told him to do it, and those poor folks believe him. Think about that. All of what is described about Mohammed above, comes directly from their sacred “Books.” You can find all the information you want about him here:

      I issue that as a warning to folks, because our President isn’t really interested in Redistribution of Wealth, or Black people, or Human Rights, or anything. He is most interested in pushing the Muslim agenda in our Country, and seeing the United States go down. Our President is a Muslim. You must believe that. Nothing else that he’s done will make sense until you see that one truth about him. You so-called “Atheists” think he’s pushing his agenda and you’re all for getting Christians out of the way, but I’m telling you that he’s not going to serve “Atheism” in the end, he’s going to serve “Allah.”

      I won’t go any further on that. It’s the key to understanding what’s really going on right now, today, in the World.

      Remember also what I said above, that “Good” Science has always been shown to agree with the Bible. The more Archaeology conducted in the Middle East, the more agreement with the Bible. The more we find out, the more we see the Bible is true. The Dead Sea Scrolls put an end to “Scientific” arguments of the first 150 years of the rise of “Humanistic” science. Dr. Einstein and Dr. Hubble put to bed the notion that God isn’t real. Time Magazine may have declared in 1966 that “God is Dead” but they couldn’t have been more wrong. Secular Humanism was on the increase, and Haight-Ashbury may have been the “Religion of the Day” (trust me, I did my share of drugs too back in the day, and it’s a “Religion”). But, God is still in control, and the longer we’re around, the more we see things lining up with Biblical Prophecy. There is not much time left now.

      The stage is now set for the final battles, for “Armageddon.” The pawns are being put in place even as we speak.

      Please, I beg you, I pray for you to go and talk to a good Christian Pastor. Take your questions, take your doubts, take your anger, take it all, and throw it out at the Bible, and see if you can’t find the answer in there! It is there, I assure you. the “Man of Lawlessness” will soon be revealed. I hope not to be here when the really bad stuff starts happening. This world is doomed, but that doesn’t mean we are. The fact that you can’t sense a thing doesn’t mean it’s not there either. God is real, as real as you and me. Something “Meta-physical” still exists, even if you can’t tell it’s there.

      Lord, help someone who reads this today, help them by opening their eyes to see, and their ears to hear your message of salvation. I pray in your name Jesus.

  6. I’m not quite sure where you were going with those first three paragraphs, so I am sorry if I somehow confused your reference to exponentially increasing lawlessness to crime.

    At any rate, the internet is, like I said, a lot like the invention of the printing press. Vast sources of knowledge are free and open to anyone who wants to investigate any discipline. Just like books, one most check the veracity of what he reads.

    Actually, the founding document that established the USA is the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
    The prologue states:

    “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

    It was “The people” that founded the USA.

    In other words, anyone that disagrees with you is not of a reasonable mind? What is that proof?
    But yes, there are always tyrannical types out there, but we’ve done a good job in this country at not only neutralizing them, but assuring that they do not take control. Our system as a constitutional republic is the reason for that. It would not be a stretch of the imagination to to think that if our founders would have tried to set up some sort of theocracy that all the different Chrisitian sects would have been fighting like the Sunnis and Shiites to gain power. After all, the original 13 colonies were 13 mini-theocracies but Madison, et al headed of that eventuality by keeping the founding document secular and guaranteeing freedom of religion/worship/ personal conscience. Christian leaders agreed that would be more prudent than endless fighting over which religion would dominate.

    Then:

    Actually, humans have evolved our nature over millennia of cooperation, which turned out to be a most successful survival skill. Empathy is the bedrock of morals and ethics. The law of reciprocity is universal. Empathy can be mapped in the brain and emanates form “Mirror neurons.” We feel the pain of others, and we feel the joy of others as if it were our own.; that is the source of altruism- our collective brains.

    Then:

    Actually, sin is a human construct, contrived by ancient leaders to control people, and it did work quite well for some of them. That construct is no longer needed with a modern understanding of sociology. We understand the Bibles as the cultural artifact that it is. There was no sacrifice on the cross since all other sacrifices ended up the with sacrificed one dead and gone. It was surely not a sacrifice with knowledge that it would be survived.

    Then:

    By rejecting an old earth and universe you do indeed reject sound science including physics, geology, paleontology, and astronomy just for starters. The bible has nothing to say about science.

    If one looks at the actual history of science, it is obvious that scientists went where the evidence led them, and of course as technology improved, they could get new and additional data,
    There are many accounts of scientists who lamented that their discoveries did not not agree with a young earth or some other biblical proposition. As you probably know, even Darwin agonized about this.


    So, now with creation, scientists began to think they could show that God no longer was relevant if they could show somehow that the Universe always existed, in other words that there was this “Eternal” thing where we lived, therefore there would no longer be need of a “Creator.” Well, when Dr. Einstein proved that phase shift existed in electro-magnetism, Dr. Hubble further proved that in fact all of the galaxies are phase-shifted such that they are all moving away from us, and in fact moving away from each other!”
    It would be absurd to think that science solved every problem all at once. Of course science moves along at it’s own pace as technology provides new evidences/ data.

    “If you trace the origins of the Universe all the way back, and you assume then at some point there was nothing and then there was something, how did that happen?”

    At least you agree that we can, indeed, trace the universe back to its beginnings, and like all other science, we don’t yet know exactly how it came about. But, we are getting closer to understanding the physics involved. Another important aspect of science is that science is OK with saying, “we don’t know.”

    “Who “Flipped the switch?” Obviously, we think God did. And it makes no sense to say that somehow something came from nothing – without God. Only something outside the system could create a system from nothing. Think about that, logically, take as long as you want.”

    That’s fine, but if some supernatural power allowed something supernatural to evolve into the natural, then there must be a physical mechanism that can be investigated. That is what science does.

    “Life from lifelessness is another of those places where you just can’t get there without having an outside “Agent” start the process.”

    Actually, there is an infinite number of possibilities how that all happened. So far, there is no evidence for a supernatural creator.

    “We are currently under a Tyrant in this Country,”
    And then we shall vote him out. That is the beauty of a constitutional republic.

    “Witness your own views on Christianity, the historical basis for this entire Country and for all our Law,….”

    Indeed. Only four of the ten commandments are ensconced in American Law, and they are universal moral concepts.

    “The average Muslim out there will say…..”

    I agree that Islam is a political system as well as a religion. Had our founders not eliminated the competition between religions in the new country we might have been in the same predicament.

    “The stage is now set for the final battles, for “Armageddon.” The pawns are being put in place even as we speak.”

    That old canard has been bandied about for two thousand years. I guarantee you that if Israel disappeared from the face of the earth, the world and humanity would keep ticking right along.
    We’re far more likely to be wiped out by an asteroid or virulent disease.

    “I assure you. the “Man of Lawlessness” will soon be revealed.”

    Please let me know when that happens!
