We got to Chik-fil-a (our closest one is about 4 miles, or 15 minutes in rush-hour traffic) to find long lines, especially for the drive-through. We were able to park though, and go inside where the lines were about 10 minutes long. We waited about 15 more minutes in the “Waiting area” with a bunch of other folks, all of whom expressed solidarity with the Chik-fil-a founder’s statement that marriage is “One man, one woman. Period.” We most of us were standing for righteousness and the principles of goodness as expressed in the Bible. I’m sure it was Chik-fil-a’s busiest day ever, probably doubling any other previous record sales! I hope so!
